World-renowned chefs, top sommeliers, and regional artists converge in Nassau’s beautiful Baha Mar Resort and Casino for a weekend of gastronomic exploration and art appreciation for the Bahamas Culinary and Arts Festival 2023 from October 27 to 29.
The Bahamas Culinary and Arts Festival combines cuisine and art into a weekend filled with sensory pleasures. Festivities will kick off at the beach with inventive cocktails and a musical performance from Grammy-award-winning artist Sting. For visiting epicures, expect local vendors, live demonstrations, and discussions from culinary masters and leading sommeliers at the festival’s expo tent. More curated events such as master classes and intimate dining experiences hosted by top chefs and sommeliers will also be held–these include a spirit and cocktail tasting with Noah Roathbaum, a sushi-crafting class with Kentaro “Katsuya” Uechi, a taste of authentic Bahamian cuisine with Bahamian chef Simeon Hall Jr., a butchery master class with master butcher Dario Cecchini, and other signature events with chefs Marcus Samuelsson, Carla Hall, Scott Conant, Michelle Bernstein, Amanda Freitag, and Geoffrey Zakarian.
For the aficionados who wish to engage their artistic sensibilities, works from the best regional artists will be displayed at FUZE. A first-of-its-kind regional art fair, FUZE will exhibit artworks from seven Caribbean nations and include panel discussions, live tours, and demonstrations from guest artists.
